TV Ratings Report: Supergirl Surges to Season Highs


Supergirl aired on a special night as the Elseworlds crossover came to a close, and it resulted in increased ratings. 

Supergirl Season 4 Episode 9 scored a 0.7 rating (2.1 million total viewers), marking the show’s highest ratings since November 2017. 

As a whole, the crossover has been a huge success and has helped each series that took part build in the ratings. 

The increased lead-in helped Black Lightning match its season high with a 0.4 rating (1.2 million total viewers). 

Over on ABC, The Conners (6.7 million/1.4 rating), The Kids Are Alright (4.4 million/0.9 rating), Blackish (3.6 million/0.8 rating), Splitting Up Together (3 million/0.7 rating), and The Rookie (4.2 million/0.7 rating) were all on par with recent ratings. 

CBS was also steady with its rotation of NCIS (12.2 million/1.3 rating), FBI (9 million/1.0 rating), and NCIS: New Orleans (7.7 million/0.8 rating). 

The Voice (9 million/1.4 rating) was stable for NBC, while Hollywood Game Night (2.7 million/0.5 rating) was low.
