Legends of Tomorrow: Is Beebo’s Return Imminent?

TV Shows

We all know DC’s Legends of Tomorrow to be the wildest (and best) superhero show on TV, and the unapologetically nerdy time-traveling series is staging one of its most bizarre adventures yet. Monday’s midseason finale, aptly titled “Legends of To-Meow Meow,” finds the world in utter chaos when Constantine (Matt Ryan) breaks the cardinal rule of time travel by returning to a time they’ve already visited.

The anachronism sets off a chain of events with the Legends transformed into several alternate versions of themselves — including puppets. Judging from the official teaser which features a kitten taking the helm of the Waverider, you might even see them pop up as fiercely adorable felines.

With help from Charlie (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Zari (Tala Ashe), Constantine will attempt to clean up this cosmically fun mess which probably won’t turn out the way he expects it to. Especially since it looks like some familiar faces from the past will show up to wreak even more havoc on the timeline.

“Not mystical creatures, necessarily, but some of the creatures from the past come back and make an appearance in that episode and we get to be crazy in different versions of ourselves, which is always fun,” Brandon Routh teased to reporters during a set visit in Vancouver.

Something tells us Beebo might be among those familiar faces staging a comeback in the finale. Executive producer Phil Klemmer already confirmed that the furry blue god’s return will happen sometime this season, so we’re holding out hope that he’ll pop up to deliver some deadly cuddles in Monday’s exciting episode.

Watch the gang screw things up for the better during Legends of Tomorrow‘s midseason finale which airs Monday, Dec. 10 at 9/8c on the CW.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, a parent company of the CW.)
